A three-day festival with a unique line-up of 16 musicians from different generations of British Improvisors. In a cross-generational confirmation of the vibrancy and relevance of the music they originated legendary figures like Lol Coxhill, Eddie Prévost, Phil Minton and Trevor Watts play in never-before-heard combinations with younger players like Rhodri Davies, Shabaka Hutchings, Matthew Bourne and Alex Ward.

Recorded at .HBC in Berlin from 6 to 8 October 2011.

All tracks are complete performances or un-edited extracts from longer performances. All tracks are free improvisations.
